Operation, Rack and Digital HPAs
The front panel 10-key pad and three of the softkeys of the Set
Max Reflected Power Menu are active. The front panel 10-key
pad is used to enter the desired maximum reflected power level.
The Set Max Reflected Power Menu softkey functions are:
[Softkey 1]—Cycles one step each time the softkey is pressed.
The step sequence is:
OFF ALARM FAULT OFF etc.
These three states are:
OFF — Disables the reflected power detection circuit
alarm and faults,
ALARM — Enables the minimum power detection circuit
alarm. The display will show the Alarm and the buzzer
will sound but High Voltage will NOT be shut off.
FAULT— Enables the minimum power fault detection
circuit. The display will show Fault; the buzzer will sound
and the High Voltage will shut off.
[Softkey 2]—Not Used. Numeric value shown on the line to the
left of this softkey is the current minimum power level setting.
[Softkey 3]—Not Used. (Value you enter for the new value is
displayed to the left of this key.)
Entries are in the units shown on the second line.
Press [Clear] to clear your entry. Press [Enter] to accept your
entry.
[Softkey 4]—Pressed to return to the Alarms/Faults Menu.

Test Menu
This menu allows you to test four amplifier functions. Refer
to Figure 8 on page 20. All softkeys are active as follows:
[Softkey 1]—Pressed to test the front panel LEDs.
[Softkey 2]—Pressed to test the audio alarm
