4.2.3 Data Interface Connection

In addition to the basic switch-to-modem cabling shown previously, there are a number of data

interface configurations available with the CDM-625. The block diagram shown in Figure 4-2 is

typical for the examples shown in Sects. 4.2.3.1 through 4.2.3.9.

With the exception of the 10/100 Ethernet interface configuration shown in Sect. 4.2.3.10 –

where customer-supplied cables are utilized – one cable/component set (see examples for

specified quantities) per 1:1 modem pair is required per user interface.
